How Tilemori uses and stores information, and how to contact the operator about it.

Information we process and why
We process the following information to maintain game access and sign-in, save the shared map, track edits and respond to inquiries.
- Visitors: a service-generated player identifier, default nickname, session information and game state.
- Google sign-in: a Google account identifier used to recognize the same account. We do not request or store your Google email address, name or profile photo as account information.
- Game activity: your chosen nickname, avatar and bio; places and markers; block changes and their times; action balance; and edit records.
- Reports and editing restrictions: internal identifiers for the reporter, subject and reviewer; the reported region, tile and edit; selected reason; review times and restriction expiry. These records support review of damage to the shared map. Related references are removed or cleared when an account is erased. Report records do not store free-form messages, email addresses or IP addresses.
- Email inquiries: the sender’s email address, message and any attachments they provide. These are processed in the operator’s mailbox to answer the inquiry and handle follow-up.
What other players can see
Profiles, online players and their map cursors, places, markers, authors and edit history may be visible to others using the shared map. Do not put sensitive information or contact details in public text. Your Google account identifier and sign-in session values are not shown in your public profile.
Cookies and browser storage
Visitor cookies are valid for up to one year after issue or renewal, sign-in cookies for up to 30 days after issue, and sign-in verification cookies for up to 10 minutes. Signing out revokes the sign-in session in that browser. Cookie expiry or signing out does not delete account or edit records on the server.
Browser storage remembers your language, map view, selected and favorite blocks, guide progress and visit state. Temporary tab storage also helps restore the view around sign-in. You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings; doing so may limit sign-in persistence and saved preferences.
Connection information and external services
The server processes IP addresses in memory during request-limit windows to prevent excessive requests and protect the service. Expired limit entries are cleared.
Tilemori uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) Lightsail in the Seoul Region, South Korea, for service hosting and operational data storage. Account, profile and game data are processed in this server environment to provide the service. The information visible to other players is described in the section above.
If you choose Google sign-in, you go to Google’s authentication page. Google processes information about the use of its services under its own privacy policy. Email sent to the operator is delivered through Gmail.
Storage and deletion requests
Account links and profiles are kept to provide the service and are removed when a verified deletion request is processed. Signing out or clearing browser data does not by itself delete accounts or edit records on the server.
Automatic recovery backups use a 30-day retention period. After a new backup succeeds, automatic backups older than 30 days are removed. Cleanup may be delayed if backups stop running. Separate manual copies and server snapshots are outside this automatic cleanup; the operator checks these separately when processing deletion requests.
Email the operator below to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing. For account deletion, the operator supplies a one-time verification phrase. Sign in to the game with the relevant Google account, change your profile bio to that phrase, and let the operator know. An email address or nickname alone does not prove account ownership. The phrase is valid for seven days.
Deletion removes the Google account link, sign-in information, profile, and places, markers and notes owned by the account. Shared block terrain and the sequence of edits remain, while authorship of retained edits is assigned to a common deleted-player account. The operator reviews the scope and explains the result; submitting a request does not delete the account immediately.
Backups made before deletion may retain information during their retention period. Deletions are reapplied when a backup is restored into the service. To prevent an old account from reappearing, a minimal record of internal player and world identifiers and the processing time is retained while the shared map operates. It does not contain the Google account identifier, email address or nickname.
The operator removes inquiry emails within 30 days after the response and follow-up are complete. You can also request email deletion through the same contact. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes, cookie values or copies of identity documents.
Optional usage analytics
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you allow usage analytics. We use traffic sources, page views, device and browser information, game loading, successful sign-ins, edit events with tool and tile count, and fixed failure categories and waiting-time ranges to improve the service and measure promotion results. Declining does not limit gameplay.
Usage information is sent to Google and processed through its service infrastructure. Tilemori does not include nicknames, Google account identifiers, email addresses, user-written content or exact edit coordinates in analytics events. Analytics browser identifiers are not linked to game accounts. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled.
Your choice is remembered in this browser for 180 days. Analytics cookies and the first-edit measurement marker are configured for up to 180 days. Return visits are measured per browser, so another device or cleared cookies may be counted as a different visitor.
Change your choice using Analytics settings in the game settings or the footer of an information page. Declining stops further transmission and clears this browser’s analytics cookies and first-edit marker. It does not delete information already sent to Google. Contact the operator below with related requests.
Advertising and advertising cookies
Tilemori does not currently display ads or offer rewards for watching them.
If Google ads are introduced, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this or other websites. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies to provide personalized ads. Before activating ads, we will update this policy to reflect how ads are provided and any required consent process.
You can manage personalized Google ads in My Ad Center. Choices for personalized ads from other participating vendors are available at aboutads.info.
Operator and policy updates
Contact the operator below for privacy questions. If the information processed, its purposes or the way ads are provided changes, we will update this page and its revision date.
